The 2025-2029 federal coalition agreement states that the comprehensive reform of the hospital landscape will be continued and, in parallel, day and home hospitalisation will be strengthened. In various paragraphs, the coalition agreement emphasises technological progress. It literally states: ‘Through digitalisation, we are strengthening day hospitalisation and home hospitalisation/home care.’
The report of the expert committee on hospital reforms will be available in mid-December. But does this hospital reform automatically mean a move towards more day and home hospitalisations?
During this study day, we will look at whether the preconditions for evolving towards more day hospitalisations and home hospitalisations are met, from the perspective of various actors. This will reveal pain points. Possible remedies will then be discussed during a round table.
